Susan Munsey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of GenerateHope, a nonprofit dedicated to the recovery and restoration of women who have been sex trafficked. A survivor herself, Susan brings more than 30 years of clinical and leadership experience to her work, guiding women toward healing through the GenerateHope comprehensive therapeutic programs and multiple other resources. Recognized as a CNN Hero and a LOréal Woman of Worth, Susan is a passionate advocate and national speaker on sex trafficking and its lasting impact. She currently serves as chair of the San Diego Regional Human Trafficking & CSEC Advisory Council, where she helps lead collaborative efforts to end exploitation and support survivors. Susan holds a master’s degree in social work from Smith College and has worked in community settings, hospitals, private practice, and nonprofit leadership.
