Our Mission | What We Do

GenerateHope’s mission is we serve sex trafficking victims by offering a real way out. GenerateHope is a faith-based organization providing long-term, comprehensive programs to women who have been sexually trafficked, so that they are able to reintegrate into society and walk powerfully into their futures.

Our goal for Colorado is to duplicate our San Diego Recovery Program. We provide long-term housing, trauma-informed individual and group psychotherapy, career development services with an academic program, case management, adjunct therapies, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions:

When will it open?

We are open!

Is the program free for the women?

Yes! Our programs are entirely free of cost for the survivors. Our funding comes from private donors, corporate and foundation grants, and a small percentage from government funding. In addition to this, many of our services are offered by pro bono partners, which means we are able to keep the program free of charge for survivors.

How do women apply?

We receive inquiries into our program through a variety of different avenues. We get referrals from the National Hotline, local law enforcement, local human trafficking task forces, other service providers, social workers, hospitals, and even a lot of self-referrals. From there, the client will connect with our staff team and do an intake. For more details on this, you can visit the ‘Program Admission’ tab.

Do the women have to be Christian to be in the program?

No they do not. Our program was founded out of a church ministry, and still maintains many of those values. However, our priority is being victim-centered and that means we are open to all faith backgrounds from all walks of life. Women do not have to profess any particular faith to be admitted into our program.
